Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of Bramblelight Books. By creating an account or using account-based community features, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a Bramblelight account. Account registration uses a neutral date-of-birth age screen before Bramblelight requests account credentials. The entered birthdate is used only for that eligibility check and is discarded rather than stored with the account. If Bramblelight learns that an account belongs to a child under 13, the account may be suspended or deleted as required by law.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, keeping your credentials secure, and activity performed through your account. Do not impersonate another person or create accounts for abusive, deceptive, or unlawful purposes.
Your content
You keep ownership of original reviews, posts, comments, images, lists, and other content you create. You grant Bramblelight a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide Bramblelight features you choose to use.
You may not upload or post content you do not have the right to use. You are responsible for the content you submit and for choosing appropriate privacy and audience settings.
Community conduct and moderation
Use of community features is also subject to the Community Guidelines. Bramblelight may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, address legal obligations, or secure the service.
Book data, links, and third parties
Book metadata, cover images, retailer information, availability, and prices may come from publishers, retailers, public data sources, or third-party services and can contain errors or change without notice. Bramblelight does not control third-party websites or transactions completed with them.
Service availability and disclaimers
Bramblelight is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bramblelight disclaims implied warranties that cannot reasonably be guaranteed for a free online service, while preserving any rights that cannot legally be waived.
Changes to these Terms
Material changes will be reflected by updating the Terms and, when appropriate, providing additional notice. Continued use after an effective update may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
